Guardian of the Threshold

No Hero Story is complete without a Guardian of the Threshold
Picture Book's Guardian Arrived Just in Time to Guard the Threshold
and the Increasingly Detailed Story

Sooner or later the Guardian of the Threshold was going to show up in Picture Book.   The threshold was added during the initial build of Picture Book, but Ruby never found time to invite the guardian.   Eventually, the guardian will cause problems for the explorers, who try to breach the threshold to the rest of the hero adventure, but for now the Sparkleberry Bird (named after the ambient music) is content to hover above anyone who tries to climb the beanstalk.

The blue crow sweet exterior hides a nasty prediliction for using its beak to bite.   Visitors are forewarned (foreshadowed) the bird will distract them.   The Midtown Exhibit document camera works well to warn and focus explorer attention.

Sword Collection ~ Realm Master Picture Book

Today's main objective, loading into the build the Realm Master Sword (animated & display versions), and adding badge information with links to a guide were accomplished.   The Midtown Ladies Guild is concerned that all the "dones" are done for good.

Violet's Lost Word Story Progress

Alexis Paninian Steamspout Airship
The latest Midtown Arts Museum certified and authenticated by the Midtown Ladies Guild is the Alexis Paninian Steamspout Airship.  It hovers above Fearstricken Canyon.  Eventually the steamspout will evacuate terrified tourists. Until then it is a nice place to picnic or take a nap.

Ruby O'Degee, museum curator, helped the Guild with the delivery of Captain Dutton Hollings Pirate Ship, once used to rob Scottish  Natives.  The ship's holds were filled to the brim with magic rocks and sent to the Americas to sell in local rock shops and flea markets of the time.

The traditional text writing is slow going, but two illustrations were drawn and added to the book this past week.  The scheduled release date continues to be mid November.
